Surfers Paradise Surf Life Saving Club – Nippers
Welcome to our Nipper program!
Our main focus is on learning, building confidence and most importantly, having fun in a safe beach environment. The skills your child will gain here will stick with them for life – just like the sand from the beach.
They will learn how to identify potential dangers and how to keep themselves safe. To participate in our program, children must be at least 5 years old (under 6) and no older than 13 years old (under 14).
Our Sunday program offers a controlled environment for children to enjoy activities such as swimming, board paddling, wading, beach sprints and flags. Lifesaving is a great activity for the whole family to get involved in. As a parent of a child in our Junior Activities, there are many supporting roles you can play.
Please take note that there have been changes to the swim proficiencies for the upcoming season. To ensure that all members are aware of these changes, it is crucial for ALL members to attend our sign-on days. We want to make sure that everyone is well-prepared and ready for the exciting season ahead.
